About Poagies Bbq, Pizza, Ice Cream And More!

Food is my passion, as a young boy growing up in Germany with my father ( a 23 year Army veteran) I had to learn at a young age to fend for myself. My dad loved to cook in the kitchen, so as every young boy does, I wanted to be right in the action. As I grew up I knew at a young age food was the business for me. I have been in food service for 30 years. We are a full service food operation. We enjoy catering Weddings, Graduation parties, Golf outings, Business parties, and much more. Give me a call for ANY occasion. We are not limited by a menu just your Imagination.

If I could put zero stars I would! Me and my partner have been here multiple times. It used to be pretty good, but as of lately it’s been extremely lacking! A couple times the burgers have been raw! We have had to go in and complain and get new food made. Then, missing items or it’s just completely sloppy as you can see in the picture below. It was missing bacon, they put like the whole container of pickles on it and the whole bottle of mustard hardly any ketchup. It was just a sloppy mess to be honest. Fries and pickle chips always soggy. I normally get the Pulled Pork Mac and it just is not very good, hardly any sour cream or any other ingredients besides mac and pulled pork and the mac is generally pretty bland on its own. Our family members went not too long ago and there was a long black hair in their food and they just haven’t gone back. The quality and taste has declined so much. It honestly feels like no one really cares. They just throw it together and call it done. I understand being busy but at least put some effort into the food you serve your customers. Especially for the price you pay for the food in general! I have heard people complain about these kind of issues

A bit of a mixed review. We've heard great things about poagies for a while now and decided to give it a shot. The menu is extensive and has a ton of different things and lots of refreshing sounding ideas as far as the food goes. I'll preface this by saying we got there about an hour before close and im chalking up some of the downfalls of the experience to that. We got the bavarian pretzel which was INCREDIBLE! Tangy sweet mustard and a white queso with a little bit of spice 🀌I got the brisket melt. The sandwich was not bad by any means. But it felt more like bbq philly cheese steak meat. Not brisket. Im used to moist chunky brisket this was just kinda chipped beef. My wife got the smoked meatloaf sandwich. It was supposed to come on jalapeno cornbread but when we got home realized they put it on sourdough. The meatloaf was very dry but it could have been salvagable had there been more bbq on it but my wife ate about 2 bites and called it quits. Now for dessert we were thrilled to see they sold 'cheesecakes by battle' because its another local place we have wanted to try for a long time. Wife got the tiramisu cheesecake and i got the dubai. Both of them were exceptional. We both a

I don't write reviews too often, as I find it a pain in the butt, but yesterday I had the Brisket Philly and it was probably the best sandwich I have ever had. I had to just let them know how enjoyable that sandwich was. Loads of the most perfectly cooked meat, the freshest bread, plenty of mushrooms, onions and peppers and the sauce had this sweetness....I'm sitting here just drooling! I am mad at myself because I ate it so darn quick, because it was so darn good. I also got a side of the baked beans, and they were very good as well, but I am telling you, I will dream about this sandwich. I always enjoy everything we get here, but this one was exceptional! Sorry - no pics, again, the speed in which I ate it.

This place is amazing! I ordered a half rack of baby back ribs with Brussels sprouts and Mac and cheese and it was all fantastic LOVED the Brussels sprouts, we also got a Bavarian pretzel.

First time trying and it was great! The poutine was exceptional. The Ruben was great. And the Mac n cheese with the pulled pork and sauce on top was good. I just wish I could have tasted more of the cheese in the Mac n cheese. The BBQ sauce is great but took over most of the flavor. Will definitely eat here again! And that gravy...needs its own food group. Get extra gravy always.
